Red Life: Dee's insider view

I have worked at RedLaw as Marketing Manager for almost three years. The culture here is different to anywhere else I have worked. It’s supportive, friendly and motivating - no room for egos which is refreshing especially given we work in the recruitment industry. Team members are polite, courteous, thoughtful, respectful. Cultural fit is really important at RedLaw and we invest time and energy in ensuring the company values which we hold dear are present in each individual we recruit.

The team is led by two individuals who have an almighty amount of knowledge of the legal industry and are simply true professionals and experts at what they do – this in itself creates an inspiring environment in which to work; it enables you to learn and encourages you to reach your ambitions. You feel a sense of pride working for this company – raising the bar for the recruitment industry.

There is a one team philosophy – we all work together in one open plan office, share successes and congratulate achievements openly whether that’s personally face to face, in company meetings or at team promotion drinks for example. Team members genuinely support their peers. Working at RedLaw you feel valued and appreciated and everyone is always generously rewarded for their efforts. There is a great deal of trust and openness between the Directors and their employees.

RedLaw has provided me with flexible working opportunities in the form of part time and working from home. As a mother of two small children, RedLaw is totally understanding of my position – that’s where the mutual trust and respect comes in. RedLaw has given me the best of both worlds and greatly enhanced my work life balance.
