One of our busiest areas within the Business Services team has certainly been paralegal recruitment, having seen a sharp increase in requirements for paralegals across UK, US, and international law firms.

Many of our law firm clients are pushing ahead with permanent and contract paralegal recruitment, even given the uncertainty at present, which is very encouraging. It is evident that there are some practice areas that are busier than others, most notably, Finance, Litigation, Private Equity, Funds and Property.

In-house recruitment remains buoyant, with many of our professional services clients actively hiring paralegals across a real mix of practice areas.

Fixed term contracts seem to be a preference for most of our corporate clients - seeking paralegals that are immediately available and keen to gain experience of what is like to work as part of an in-house legal team.
