We are excited to be working with a leading US Law Firm to hire a Senior Business Development Manager for their Transactional Practice.

This is a key leader role, serving as the primary liaison to critical high-revenue practice and industry groups within the firm which involves developing and executing strategies that align with the group's overall business objectives. The Senior Manager plays an active role in understanding the group's services, lawyers, and clients, and leads initiatives to enhance client knowledge and cross-selling opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with practice/industry leaders to create and implement marketing and client development strategies.
  • Ensure a consistent and effective mix of marketing and business development activities to support the group's goals.
  • Lead and contribute to group meetings, planning sessions, and manage key business development projects like RFPs and pitches.
  • Oversee and refine business development processes, including managing written collateral, databases, and tracking tools.
  • Utilise market insights to drive strategic direction and distinguish service offerings.
  • Manage budget recommendations, ROI assessments, and advise on marketing expenditures for the practice.
  • Lead profile-raising efforts, such as rankings, surveys, and sponsorships.
  • Manage, develop, and provide feedback to staff, ensuring efficient delegation and collaboration across teams.
