We’ve partnered with a top-tier US law firm seeking a dynamic professional to fill a dual role combining compliance management and conflict resolution. As a Compliance Specialist, you’ll play a key role in supporting risk management and new business functions across the firm’s offices in the UK and internationally.
In this position, you’ll be central to the firm’s compliance efforts, managing processes across various regions and contributing to impactful projects that drive the firm’s success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Compliance Manager in managing the AML query inbox, handling routine inquiries, and escalating complex issues as needed.
- Conduct corporate research using online tools to verify party names and identify corporate affiliates for new representations.
- Oversee the firm’s AML processes, utilising third-party verification and due diligence platforms.
- Promptly escalate any issues that may require reporting to the Compliance Manager.
- Collaborate with the firm’s International Conflicts Manager on complex conflicts matters.
What We’re Looking For: The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills and a solid understanding of AML regulatory frameworks in the UK, and Europe. With excellent attention to detail, the ability to prioritise tasks, and a collaborative approach, you will work effectively with key stakeholders across various jurisdictions.
